About the Accommodation

We warmly welcome you to our modern and lovingly furnished holiday home "Lisa" in Glowe on the island of Rügen. The holiday home is very suitable for families, friends, sportsmen and fishermen. You can expect a spacious and cosy living and dining area with a modern kitchen, three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower, one of which has a bathtub. The holiday home can be rented all year round for up to 6 people. Younger guests are also catered for with, for example, a cot and baby chair. The house is very sunny. On the south side of the house there is a terrace where you can relax and enjoy your coffee and which leads into a spacious garden. The quiet and friendly residential area invites you to enjoy a relaxing or active holiday. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away at 500 metres. You can enjoy romantic walks at sunset. There are plenty of leisure activities such as cycling, hiking, swimming, sailing, surfing, fishing and diving. There are plenty of shopping facilities for everyday necessities. Those interested in culture will also get their money's worth. For example, you can visit the 16th century Spyker Castle or the lighthouses of Cape Arkona, the northernmost point on Rügen.

Dining and living

You can rent the holiday home Lena all year round for up to 6 people. On the ground floor there is a modern and fully equipped eat-in kitchen with ceramic hob, oven and microwave. Everything you need for cooking is available: Pots, crockery, glasses, cutlery and even a small freezer compartment for delicious cold desserts. After dinner, make yourself comfortable inside in the cosy seating area or on the outdoor terrace.

Bathing and relaxing

When you're not splashing around in the Baltic Sea, treat yourself to a dose of wellness at Haus Lena. The bathroom on the first floor has a shower and a bathtub. Downstairs on the ground floor there is another spacious bathroom with a shower.

A place to sleep ...

... is offered by Haus Lena in three spacious bedrooms: two on the first floor and one in the attic. All bedrooms are furnished with a double bed (one also has a pull-out sofa bed). For families with children, there is also a baby travel cot and a high chair in the house, which you can use free of charge. By the way: mosquitoes are not an issue in Haus Lisa thanks to an insect screen window in every bedroom.

On chilly days

An autumn or winter holiday on Rügen has its very own charm. The rough wind, the salty air and the roaring sea clear your head and expand your lungs. After a cold day by the sea, simply snuggle up in front of the cosy fireplace in the living area, switch on the underfloor heating and enjoy the peace and quiet after the storm.

On the south side of the house, you can relax on the furnished wooden terrace with a view of the garden. A stone barbecue is available for cozy evenings. If you want to park and lock your bikes safely, simply use the small red wooden shed with a Swedish look outside. The outdoor area consists of a large garden with terrace, garden furniture, parasol, sunbathing lawn and barbecue. The parking lot is right next to the house.

The vacation home Lisa also has underfloor heating, external roller shutters, a freezer and a baby travel cot. The 32 m2 living area is furnished with a sofa, CD player, TV, radio, wood-burning stove, a small selection of books and games. In the high-quality fitted kitchen you will find a dishwasher, fridge, stove and oven, pots and cutlery, radio, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and plenty of crockery. The bathroom on the first floor has a WC, shower and washing machine. The bathroom on the upper floor has a WC, shower and bathtub. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, closet and armchair. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, closet, armchair, TV and a pull-out couch. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and chest of drawers.

Towels and bed linen can be booked as an option. Pets can also be brought along for an additional charge.

Further information

• The rental price includes final cleaning, waste, water and electricity.
• The rental price is exclusive of tourist tax. This is payable on arrival, at the property service when the keys are handed over.
• The vacation home can be occupied by a maximum of 6 people. Additional persons, mobile homes or tents are not permitted as accommodation.
• Arrival is between 16.00 and 18.00 hrs. Departure is by 10.00 hrs.
• Arrivals and departures are possible on Saturdays in the high season and on any day of the week in the low season.
• Pets are allowed on request.
• Smoking in the house is not permitted.

Payment modalities

• A 25% deposit of the total price must be paid within 7 days of receipt of the booking confirmation, and the balance up to 30 days before the start of the rental period. In addition, a deposit of EUR 200.00 must be paid in advance, which will be transferred back to the tenant after the end of the tenancy and release by the property service if the rented property has been returned in the condition stipulated in the contract and there are no further claims arising from the tenancy agreement.
• The minimum age of the main tenant is 21 years.
• You can withdraw from the contract at any time. Withdrawal must be made in writing. The date of receipt of your notice of withdrawal counts. Any amounts already paid will be offset. You can provide a replacement person who will enter into your contract under the conditions stated. Written notification is sufficient. In the event of withdrawal, you are obliged to make cancellation payments: Cancellation fees are: EUR 20.00. If you cancel 50 - 30 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental price must be paid. Cancellation 29 - 7 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental price. If you cancel less than seven days before the start of the rental period or if you do not arrive, you must pay the full rental price.
  

Neighbourhood

The small, tranquil holiday resort of Glowe is located in the north-east of the island of Rügen between the Jasmund and Wittow peninsulas. The 700-year-old former fishing village is a dream destination for beach holidaymakers and nature lovers. The kilometre-long sandy beach offers a fantastic view as far as the cliffs of Cape Arkona, the sunniest place in Germany and also the northernmost point of Rügen.

The modern Baltic harbour offers deep-sea anglers a good starting point for the perfect catch (sea trout, salmon and cod). Of course you can also be active in other ways in Glowe: Cycling, golfing, horse riding, swimming, sailing, surfing, diving, water skiing and much more is possible here.

If you take the well-developed cycling and hiking trails in and around Glowe on quiet soles or tyres, you will come across roe deer, red deer and badgers. Seagulls, migratory birds and even seals can be observed in the Schaabe, a narrow spit of land between the Bodden and the sweeping Baltic Sea bay.

Transport

Buses run daily between the towns of Sassnitz - Lohme - Glowe - Altenkirchen - Putgarten - Cape Arkona operated by the regional transport company VVR.

You can book excursions by minibus at ruegen-ausfluege.de. The tours take you across the island of Rügen, to Usedom or Fischland-Darß-Zingst, for example.
